Well, I heard from the doctor today and because I've started showing signs of preeclampsia, they've placed me on bed rest for the duration of my pregnancy. They're not sure what causes preeclampsia, but it's high blood pressure in pregnant women that can only be fixed with the delivery of the baby. Luckily, Rhett is considered full-term at the end of this week, so if they need to take him early because of my blood pressure, he will be fine. For now, my blood pressure is actually really good, but I have to check it 3 times/day to make sure it doesn't get out of control.
My family is so great. They've already mobilized the troops-my brother Larry came over and brought me jugs of water so I don't have to keep getting up to refill my glass, and my parents brought over dinner and hung things in Rhett's room while I watched.

Glad you had time to catch up your blog. I'm going to ask that you have him before I leave for Mexico, or wait until I get back. Is that too much? I can't wait to kiss his little face!
