Monster big post

Now that I'm sick and forcing myself to sit still for more than 1 second, I finally have the time to update my blog with the activities from the last 4 months. So, get comfortable! :)

Moving Day: I didn't take many pictures the day we moved into the new house, but I found a few cute ones of Rhett.

Checking out his toys at the old apartment...

Checking out the boxes at the new house... I wish this one wasn't so blurry, but I love how happy he is!

Christmas: Rhett wanted to make some christmas decorations for the family, so we went to a pottery-making place in town. He had such a good time painting stars and mittens. I highly recommend doing this if you get the time! Opening gifts on Christmas Eve in East Texas. I love that "It's a Wonderful Life" is playing in the background :) Checking out his toys from the family on Christmas morning... Getting his jacket on, so he can go play with his wagon outside. I love his eyes in this one. He's ready to go! Opening presents with the family in Tyler... Here's a great shot of the whole Bassham/Tutt/Duhon family including the newest addition Reagan

Here's one of the shots from the Conway Christmas. I just realized we didn't take any pictures that night! It was a great time, though. Here's a picture of all of the cousins. What a group :)

Snow days: We were lucky enough to have a few snow days in Texas this year. Rhett thought stomping in the snow was the coolest thing, and with school/work closings, we were able to enjoy it right along with him! Here's Rhett's first look at snow. Making a snowman with Daddy... I think he's throwing a snowball at me... And then here are some pics from the big snowstorm. This one shut down the city for a few days, and we were able to spend lots of time playing in the snow and eating chili :) Here's Rhett and his best friend Reid, who's exactly one year older than Rhett... The boys stomping in the snow... Here's a shot to show you how bad it really got here. I took this picture from my car... Big boy running ahead of the group. He loved standing in the slushy water... My boys... Our family...

Around the house: Here's a shot of Rhett's favorite thing to do-wrestle. Luckily, his big cousin Mason was happy to wrestle with him, and was so sweet to let him win :) Playing in his playroom at the new house. It's so nice to have an area that's all his so he can spread his toys out... Coloring with Mommy. It looks like he's saying, "Woman, will you leave me alone? I'm busy!" Showing his intelligent side... Reading, watching tv, and playing in his wagon. Such a multi-tasker!

Thomas the Train: At the beginning of March, Thomas the Train came to town and although it was super rainy, it was fun to see Rhett play with the trains. On the way to see Thomas. What a ham :) There was a puppet show at the event, and Rhett loved the guy's songs and dances. It reminded me of how funny my dad is with the grandkids :) The boys checking out the puppet show. I promise they enjoyed it :) Enjoying his food (I think!) Riding on Daddy's shoulders... Playing with the trains in Imagination Station...

Spring weather! We finally got some nice weather this past week, and Rhett and I took advantage of it by heading to the park next to our house. Trying to climb UP the slide (and not succeeding)... Going down the slide the right way... Silly monkey! Enjoying the swing... Cool Hand Luke... And to wrap it all up, here's a video of our little guy jamming out to Mamma Mia. I promise our bathroom doesn't always look like that. He loves to mess that room up!

Well, that's it! I hope I didn't bore you to tears, but I'm glad I was able to get all of those pictures out for everyone to see. I'll try to post more often so you don't get such crazy long posts!

Love, Becca
