Day care baby

Well, this concludes Rhett's first week of day care, and I must say, it wasn't too bad! The ladies in his room are really nice and are always happy to give updates (i.e. Rhett rolled over, he took his bottles like a champ, etc.).

Each day, they send home a progress sheet that shows how many wet/dirty diapers he has each day, what he eats and when, and at what times he napped. I must say, I eat this stuff up! It really helps me know when he's had a good day and will be ready to stay up and play, or if he didn't nap well and will want to eat and go to bed early (like tonight). I've noticed that he is already taking longer naps at day care and he's sleeping much deeper at night, so I feel like that's a positive!

All in all, it's been a good week. I've met some really nice parents who have given me tips on surviving the first week back at work, and I've also been impressed by how well the teachers can keep Rhett happy. I knew I liked this place before Rhett was born, but it was nice to see that my opinion didn't change once he spent his first week there!
