These days, Rhett sleeps until about 5:30am and then is ready to eat at 6am. Donnie gives him his first bottle and then puts him back to bed while he gets ready for work. Since I usually get up with Rhett at 5:00-5:30, I take this time to get a little more rest.
When Rhett woke up for good this morning at 9:45am, I could hear him talking to himself over the monitor. When I went to get him up for the day, he looked up at me and gave me the world's biggest grin. It was the first time he had really smiled at me like that and it just warmed my heart. I love that kid :)

Aw! Makes it all worth it huh? We just had to lower B's crib mattress to the big girl height. She's always sitting up in there now, working on pulling up. Pretty soon she'll be standing up shaking the bars :-)
