What has changed in the last few weeks, you ask?
- He has cut two teeth and has a 3rd on the way. As you can tell from my last post, Sophie has become his best friend because she's so nice to chew on.
- He can now stand flat in his bouncer when a month ago he was on his tippy toes.
- He has started to sit up with very little assistance. I attribute this to the wide base he got from his daddy :) He can prop himself up by putting his hands between his legs and has started to hate laying back even to take a bottle.
- He has tried rice cereal, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes, with sweet potatoes being his absolute favorite (Mamaw, he should be ready for your pie soon!) :)
- He belly laughs when you laugh back at him, tickle him under his chin, and make silly faces.
- He now sleeps a full 10 to 11 hours most nights. In fact, we have to hurry to get him to bed at night so he can get enough rest before we have to get going the next morning. (We did have a small setback a week ago where he woke up at 4:45 each morning screaming from his teething pain, but luckily that is over for now).
Here are a few pics from his monthly shot we take (where he's showing off his sitting abilities), as well as documentation of the sweet potato event.

We're almost halfway to one! Happy 5-month birthday, little man.
