- He laughs a lot now. He loves funny faces, funny sounds, and getting tickled. I can't tell if he's ticklish yet, or if he just likes the face you make when you tickle him. He even loves when you PRETEND you're going to tickle him.
- He really loves his jumperoo, which is a relief since I wasn't sure it would be that different from his exersaucer. I need to post the video I took, but that kid smiles and laughs like there's no tomorrow. When I finally took him out of it, he didn't settle down for like 10 minutes. So, no jumperoo right before bed anymore! :)
- When you carry him, he puts his little hand on your shoulder to hold on. It's so sweet.
- He's not crawling yet, but in the past week, he has gotten up on his hands and knees. Then, he promptly plops down so he can roll some more :) If you let him, he'll roll clear across the room in a matter of minutes.
- I haven't seen it yet, but my mom said he will cover his face when you play "peek-a-boo" with him. So cute!
- I can't tell if he recognizes himself in the mirror, but when you hold him in front of it, he always gives you a big grin.
- Every night we put him to bed, we each give him a kiss on the cheek, which elicits a smile from him EVERY time.
- Right now, he has tried oatmeal, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, green beans, and apple sauce. He eats oatmeal twice a day with two jars of one of these veggies/fruits and then four 8oz. bottles of formula. He's an eater!
- For the most part, he sleeps 10-11 hours a night. If he's teething, he wakes up a couple of times a night, but he's normally a rock star sleeper. Lately, we put him at the bottom of his crib and during the night, he scoots up until his face is planted against the slats at the front of the crib. He hasn't figured out how to back up yet, so he keeps moving until he's stuck up on his elbows. We have to go rescue him most nights, but as soon as you pull him down, he goes right back to sleep.
- He's happy almost ALL of the time. If he gets fussy, he's either tired or hungry. If it's not that, he doesn't feel well.
- He can sit up unassisted for a few seconds before he falls over. This usually happens because he's reaching for something.
- In the beginning, Jasmine was pretty leary of Rhett when he cried, but now she busts into his room at night and we'll often find her laying next to his crib in the morning. It may be because that used to be where we kept her cage, but I like to think it's because she likes him :)
- If you've gotten this far, I'm quite impressed! Here are some of his 6-month pictures.

He was flapping his hand in this one:
And proof he STILL can't sit up for very long :)
Happy 6-month birthday, little man!
