Saturday morning, Donnie's parents came in to town, and Granna was sweet enough to watch Rhett while I got some much-needed errands done. I was very grateful! They brought Rhett a water wiggle worm which he thought was very cool:
Then, he was ready to move to his little pool. I love how he kicks his little feet:
Granna didn't know it, but I was taking sneak pictures of them :)
Sunday, we went to the park in the morning and then had some friends over for a bbq and another run through the water. It was such a nice day for summer activities!
My parents invited us over for a Memorial Day bbq and set out the plastic pools in the front yard for the cousins to play. We all agreed it was quite white trash, but the kids loved it. The scene when we got there:

Rhett wasn't ready to jump right in, but he was definitely interested:
After watching the kids play for awhile, Rhett still didn't want to get in, but he was very interested in eating. After dinner, I tried to get some pictures of the boy cousins but it just didn't work in my favor :)

Then, they got this weird assembly line going where they transferred water from one pool to the other. This was right up Rhett's alley and he thought it was WAY fun.

It's been a great weekend, and the actually holiday isn't until tomorrow. I'll post more pics if that day ends up as fun and memory-filled as these.
