Catching up

Between Donnie's last week of school and my work schedule, we've been pretty crazy around here. I haven't blogged in over a week, so I'll get you caught up.

Rhett has been sleeping later in the mornings, which is great, but it makes mornings hectic. You never know if he's going to wake up when you do, or right when you're getting in the shower. Luckily, Donnie is a prince and gets Rhett's bottles made and puts them in the fridge so I just have to put them in his bag as I'm walking out the door.

This morning, Rhett pooped, snotted, and spit up on me, so needless to say, it took a little bit longer to get out the door! He's cutting two teeth right now, though, so he gets a pass :)

This past weekend, Donnie's parents and grandparents came into town to visit. They were only able to stay a few hours, so it was nice of them to make the 3 hour trip anyway.
Here's Rhett with Gran...

Rhett with Pop and Mamaw. If you can't tell, this kid loves to jump!

Here's a video of Rhett with Pop. Unfortunately, it doesn't have sound, but Rhett loved playing with Pop. Watch how he attacks Pop's arm hair :)

When Donnie was little he had this great Fisher Price toy that has little animals inside, and it rolled when you push it. Mamaw was sweet enough to bring it for Rhett, and it's perfect for him now that he can sit up and push it around. Here's a pic of his new toy. Thanks Mamaw!
Below are a few random pics I've taken of Rhett over the last week.
At the Kendrick's apartment after some green beans...
Mimi's birthday was Monday, so Rhett and I took the below pictures to send her for her birthday. I bought this Seaside onesie when I was pregnant last year, and I'm so excited to have our little guy finally wear it!

I finally caught a picture of him waving!
And here's my personal favorite, which is the one we sent to Mimi. This expression kills me!! We emailed this to Mimi with the following saying, "Rhett wants to wish you 'Happy Birthday!' and can't wait to see you on the beach!"

And you're caught up! Tomorrow is the last day of school, Rhett and I will be walking in the Susan Komen race Saturday morning, and my Aunt Deena will be in town for a family dinner Sunday night, so I'm sure I'll have more updates soon.

Take care!
