He ordered the chicken strips while I ordered the chicken fried steak. Since he's almost 1 now, we've started letting him try whole milk. Man, he really loves that stuff! As soon as I got his sippy cup ready, he started jumping up and down in his seat and reaching for it.
They put us right next to the jukebox, which Rhett thought was pretty cool. He loved watching the kids come up and pick songs, and he liked kicking his feet whenever old country songs came on. He thought it was odd when the waitresses danced to the Hokey Pokey, though.
Rhett really enjoyed his chicken strips and also ate his fair share of biscuits (one and a half), mashed potatoes, and creamed corn. He also ate more green beans than me, which isn't saying much since I'm not a huge fan of green beans cooked in bacon grease. Here's a picture I took once he was done eating. His posture says it all:
After Rhett paid, we walked around Babe's and checked out their old machinery that's on display. He enjoyed this tractor seat:
And hanging out by the barn door:
And finally, Rhett showing off his standing skills. That kid can stand really well now!
