New shoes

Rhett starts a new daycare on Monday that requires the mobile babies to wear shoes. That way, they don't get their toes stepped on by the other babies while they're all crawling, pulling up, walking, etc.

He has a few pairs of cute shoes but they're more decorative than anything. So, I decided to take him to Stride Rite to get his feet measured so we can be sure we have the right shoes for his feet. He behaved so well!

Here's a close-up of his new kicks. They're good for babies just learning to pull up and take steps, but they won't be too heavy for him to crawl in. They also won't be too tough on his feet while they're still forming.

And here are some pics of him showing off the new shoes. We took him to dinner and he wouldn't stop grinning at our friend Chris across the table to smile at the camera :)

He's getting to be such a big boy!
